How To Make Money in Second Life

There are many ways to learn how to make money in Second Life, but on this blog we focus on the adult side of things. Virtual sex has turned into a big money maker for some online sex workers. With YouTube, blogs(like mine), and other resources, virtual worlds such as Second Life have become more popular. I told my story a while ago on my other blog on how I joined Second Life and got into selling virtual sex services.

There are many avenues you could try to make money.

Become a Virtual Stripper

Virtual stripping is big business on the adult side of Second Life. There are dozens of strip clubs that are always hiring and some even cater to fetish specific clientele. There are also a few members only clubs that have a membership fee attached for patrons. Some are even more private than that and only feature a couple dancers. I worked at a couple of clubs before going completely independent but this was back in 2015-2016. If you want to get started making money right away, I suggest applying at multiple clubs and while dancing freelance at Escort Oasis. Learn as much as you can while working at clubs. You can learn a lot on how to run your business and effective marketing strategies.

Going completely independent can take time. You’ll have to establish your clients on your own, take care of advertising, have a venue to entertain clients, etc. A lot goes into it just like with any other business.

Virtual Escort Services

Many strippers in Second Life also provide escort services. Some escort men to parties while others provide sensual services in the privacy of their homes or a mixture of both. I have a sim where my club, mp3 and video stores, and private home reside. Whenever someone wants a session, I entertain them at the Wages of Sin Club on the sim and my VIP clients get the option of coming to my private home. I have ads posted all over Second Life that cater to my target audience and receive hits daily which I convert in multiple ways. Whenever I login I make money. Sometimes when I don’t login, I still make money. I’ve been doing this for years though and have built up my clientele and find new creative ways to gain new customers.

Sell Content

Have videos uploaded to sites? Have your own password protected video links? You can make money from your content by selling it in the virtual space. Selling content can be as simple or as complex as you wish. I have content stores on my sim with products in vendors that customers can purchase. I sell my pictures, mp3s, and videos. Mega.nz is the service I use to upload my content. They are adult friendly and with certain plans you can generate password protected links for your content. I find this extremely beneficial especially when delivering customs. I go through setting up stores in consultations.

There are always clients looking for content to purchase inworld.

Learning how to make money in Second Life doesn’t have to be complicated. Figure out your niche and focus on attracting your target audience. Be consistent and you will see results.

Virtual Sex Work in 2023

Virtual sex work in 2023 is everything I desire and more. A few minutes after entering the new year a long time second life sub of mine gifted me while watching me perform live at my club The Wages of Sin. While the club is slowly building traffic most of the clients are my long time ones. There are a couple of ladies who have store space on The Wages of Sin sim and also bring their own traffic. I truly do believe if you build it, they’ll come. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I’m building up the sim more but I’ve come to realize that I need to log in more.

I have new goals for virtual sex work in 2023. My goal is to earn most of my income from selling my services and content in virtual worlds. I’m going to push passive income more(content sales, virtual membership club, etc.). I started slowly building up my virtual OnlyFans but stopped focusing on it. While I’m on Second Life a lot, I fall short when it comes to RLC. I haven’t logged inworld to Red Light Center in a year, but I do login to my account on a web browser to respond to clients. So while I haven’t physically been inworld, I have still been making sales. Mostly affiliate because of this blog 🙂

Making Full Time Money From Virtual Sex

Almost everyday I’m asked is it possible to make full time money from logging into Second Life or RLC selling virtual sex? Yes, it’s possible. Please remember that anything is possible if you remain consistent. This has been proven time and time again. There are some virtual sex workers I personally know that stay logged into Second Life 14+ hrs/day and make full time cash. These ladies have their own land with content stores, private clubs, strip at Escort Oasis, and do other things inworld to pay their real life bills. While I make the most money when I’m actively inworld on SL, there are some ladies who bank even when they’re not online. This is why I’m building up my content stores on my sim this week. I want to do more traveling this year so it’s imperative I make more money when I’m not online working.

While it’s possible to make full time money from virtual sex it won’t happen instantly. I have to stress this because many contact me for training in hopes they’ll make a quick $1,000 in a few days. For you to be successful selling virtual sex, you have to first learn the ins and outs of virtual worlds. This can take months. This is why some clubs inworld require avatars to be at least 90 days old before being able to work in their establishment.

I think it’s important to remember that what your goal is and not look at anyone else’s. If you want to earn full time money from phone sex, you can. If you want to earn all your money from selling content, you can. It all boils down to what you want to do.

Pro Tip 💡 Having a blog is a great FREE way to promote your services. Even if you’re selling stuff strictly in virtual worlds, having a blog and writing 3-5 posts/week can help you gain clients who find you through search engines. It can take months of consistently writing content to start seeing the rewards, but it’s worth it. Remember promotion will cost you either time or money. You’re going to have to sacrifice something.

Virtual Sex Academy

While the responses for my inworld Virtual Sex Academy were overwhelming, I’m struggling with moving forward. I want to focus on what’s important to me now with building up my passive income, then I’ll focus on the Virtual Sex Academy more. I know there’s a growing need for people wanting information on how to make money from virtual sex and I’m here to provide just that. I just need a little more time.

Consultations are available for $1.50/minute with a 10 minute minimum. Click on the chat button on the bottom right to start your consultation. I’m online quite often so I’m here to answer any questions you have regarding virtual sex. This will be the primary way for anyone to contact me moving forward. Questions concerning virtual sex will no longer be answered through email.

If you decide you want one on one training, I will discount you the price of the chat consultation from your training package.

I’ll be updating this blog more this year. Stay tuned for more updates.

Virtual Sex Marketplace

I know it’s been a while since I last provided an update about my virtual sex marketplace. Visit my sex sim by clicking here. A couple of the store spaces have content to purchase now and more will be filled in the near future. The Wages of Sin sex sim also includes an escort club and The Worship Palace which is my private side of the sim. In a previous update I stated I turned my escort club into a freelance club to make things easier. Looking for work? Visit me at my sim or message me inworld at sarabimaraj. I’ll send you a tag so you can log into the tip jars and earn some money. You receive 90% of your earnings, the other 10% goes to me which is used for advertising. A good portion of the money I earn inworld I put back into my SL businesses.

If you’re a virtual sex worker interested in selling your services online at my virtual sex marketplace, contact me inworld and we can discuss options. Most of my store spaces are already rented out but I do have a couple more options at my sex sim. You can also email me at info@virtualsexwork.info.

I’m also available for consultations inworld. Consultations are 50% off!

Contact me for more information 🙂

Advertising Adult Services

I’m back with a great update! I know it can be a struggle to get creative with advertising adult services. My new land is finished being landscaped and partially open for business. I welcome online sex workers to contact me to get store space on my new land to advertise your services.

Escort land and mp3 and clip content stores in Second Life

This opportunity is currently only open for virtual sex workers who are familiar with Second Life and currently have content to sell. I will verify that you’re an active online sex worker. I want the stores to be updated as much as possible to give potential customers fresh content to purchase. I’m driving traffic to the sim from different sources so the bodies will be there to purchase content. I only have a few store spaces left. Email me at info@virtualsexwork.info or message me inworld at sarabimaraj to get your store space. Once space is full and you’re still wanting a spot, I’ll put your name on a waiting list and contact you when I have availability. I only have three spaces left.

Other Advertising Options

There is an opportunity for those who want to utilize Second Life to gain clients without physically playing. I offer this option to phone sex companies, adult sites, online sex workers, sexters, etc. Email me for more information. Update: There currently is a waiting list for this option.

I have to get the club decorated and then I’ll be opening the land to the public. I have decided to go a different route with The Wages of Sin. I’ll reveal more about this once I’m officially ready to open.

The Virtual Sex Academy inworld sim will be opening in January 2023. I have more to say, but I wanted to keep this post short with a brief update.

Virtual Sex School

I have a virtual sex school in the works for early 2023. It will be a private sim where all virtual sex academy inworld courses will take place. Students will also have a few options when it comes to housing. I’m pushing this opening back til Jan 2023 because I still have a few things to get in place before that. When classes do open, there will be 10 students allowed in a class and a lot of class time will be spent doing hands on things. We’ll have field trips to my escort club where you’ll get the opportunity to make money and meet future clients. This will just be your first step into the virtual sex world. My purpose is to help you take that first step and give you a start in virtual sex work. You’ll be putting in the real work once you graduate from my class.

Virtual Sex Classes

I know you probably want more information, so I’ll share what I can for now. There will be enough space for 30 students to have housing. There will be 3 classes running to offer several class times. I’ll have classes in the morning, afternoon, and late evening. Classes will run 1.5-2hrs/each. Like I stated before, most of the time will be spent outside of the classroom. The first class will be an introduction and the two remaining classes will be spent mostly at the Wages of Sin club.

There will be one class per week. Inworld classes cost L$10,000 for the 3 courses. I will only accept payment through Second Life. Classes will run year round with limited start dates. Session 1 will begin Jan 2023 and after those classes graduate, session 2 will start April 2023, and session 3 will August 2023. I may consider adding more classes when I get more teachers to assist.

You must have experience playing as this is not a beginner’s course. I will not teach you how to put on clothes, move around, etc. In these courses I teach experienced SL players how to make real life money selling services in a virtual space. This is perfect for those who are looking to make extra money or want to eventually be a full time virtual sex worker. This can be done, but it’s not easy and requires consistency. Don’t look at my pay statements and expect to make that right out of graduation. While you will be offered a position at my club if I have availability, your success is still up to you.

Second Life Beginner Courses

For those who are completely new to Second Life, I do not offer group classes. I offer one on one training inworld because beginners usually require more assistance. I’m available to teach beginner’s classes now. I charge L$12,000 for three one on one sessions. Email me at info@virtualsexwork.info if you’re interested. Once payment is received, I immediately send you my Second Life Beginner’s Guide and we set up our first inworld session together.

Things are coming together sooner than expected for my Virtual Sex Worker courses. Updates coming soon. If you have questions about the virtual sex school and you’re already inworld, message me at sarabimaraj.

Becoming a virtual sex worker

Becoming a virtual sex worker is starting to be a very popular search term. Many think that making a full time income in a virtual world is unbelievable, but I would hope the majority of you would be able to comprehend the earning potential here. I’ve shown you all my earnings before on my Twitter accounts, but I’ll post them here.

I will not always post my earnings because I feel as long as you see proof of what I’m saying and I show you the way, that’s all that matters. I made over $200 in about 10 minutes this time. On this day, I logged in and a long-time whale of mine cashed me out. This wasn’t for a service, this was “just because” money. I’ve been actively playing as a virtual sex worker for years now so I have established clientele and have my marketing down to a science so making money like this when I log in is normal. While of course, it may take me longer than 10 minutes in some cases, I can easily make that same amount in less than 8 hrs. I’ve done it before and I continue to do it to this day.

If you read my last blog post, I discussed how I was going through something and ditched all my ad boards in Second Life but decided to come back later. Many emailed me and asked how my earnings were affected. They weren’t. As soon as I logged back in I received messages from my established clients wanting escorting services and content. I did put my ads back up in high-traffic areas such as Escort Oasis and Tramps but even if I didn’t, I would still make money because I have the clients.

Virtual Escorting

Becoming a virtual sex worker can include many things. Some sell voice and texting sessions while others just offer virtual sex. I’ve encountered some very high-end virtual escorts that are very strict when it comes to their offering and still make bank. Why? Because they were consistent. They stick to what they want and don’t settle for less. They don’t advertise to wankers and make sure potential clients know they will have to pay higher prices for a unique experience. My pricing is considered on the higher end which does keep away a lot of freebie seekers. I still do get the occasional jerk who tries to get something for nothing, but I don’t argue. I block and move on. There are way too many potential customers in the metaverse to worry about one loser.

While the money is there, it can take months to get a steady flow of customers. If you’re already an online sex worker looking to expand your services and marketing, I would advise looking into making money on Second Life as a virtual escort. I know it may seem like a lot to learn, but I am revamping my self-paced classes and turning them mostly into videos where you follow along with me while I work everyday as a virtual sex worker. I’ll be showing you everything that I do to make money in my training videos. I won’t show interactions with my clients, but I will show you how I market.

Pro Tip 💡 If you already have experience playing Second Life, then don’t wait on my classes to start advertising. Visit high-traffic areas such as Escort Oasis and Tramps to look into purchasing ad space. Set aside a weekly advertising budget. If you need help putting together your notecard advertising your services, message me inworld at sarabimaraj.

Virtual Sex Work Academy

If you want to be notified as soon as my courses are live, email me at info@virtualsexwork.info. Things are moving quicker than I imagined so by October everything will be complete.

Virtual Sex Work is Back..

So I honestly almost quit virtual sex work altogether. I got rid of my sex sim and even went as far as removing all of my ad boards inworld. A major life event happened to me recently that made me want to shut completely down. I was done. The break I had helped me see that I love sex work. I enjoy the freedom and flexibility it provides and I plan on doing this work in some capacity until the day I die.

Now that I’m back, I’ll be recreating my sex sim but it will be smaller. Sims cost a lot and while I started seeing some profits from the sex sim, it still cost a ton to keep running. So I’m going to downscale a bit in size while still providing a great space for virtual sex workers and their clients to enjoy. I’ll be back inworld this weekend to purchase the land and get things going on that end. I’m excited to get back into it because for so long I lived and breathed Second Life. I didn’t want to do anything else but make money in SL.

Those feelings I had for Second Life have now resurfaced so things will be much better this time around.

All virtual escorting classes will be discounted once I reopen. Only certain classes will be held inworld while everything will be offered self paced on the website. It will take about two months for everything to be in place. I’ll start hiring for The Wages of Sin escort club when the land is closer to being complete.

Red Light Center Training

Red Light Center or RLC training will be available closer to the winter months. The reason for this is because I have to do further inworld research(sessions with clients, advertising, etc)., to see how I will approach the new training. All training classes will be self-paced for RLC, but I will sometimes have info sessions inworld. I will be gifting ONE VIP membership. You must sign up for my classes online when they become available in November/December 2022 to be entered into the drawing. I understand money is tight for most, so I will try to help when I can.

For those of you who want immediate assistance now, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at info@virtualsexwork.info.

Advertising Cam Shows

In virtual sex work, advertising cam shows may seem challenging at first. When I first joined Second Life, I joined solely to make money. This girl I knew worked at a virtual club and paid all her real-life bills doing so. She only did phone sex at the time, but eventually, she went independent, got her own land, and started offering cam shows. Cam shows will usually make you the most money in the least amount of time. While this may sound appealing, you first have to find ways for customers to find you.

Ad Boards

If you’re already playing Second Life, you know that ad boards are the best way to advertise your services. It’s important to purchase ad space in high-traffic areas where your audience visits. If you advertise that you’re a poly virtual sex worker who enjoys group sex, then you’ll want to advertise in clubs and other establishments where this type of clientele visits such as sex beaches. I can’t emphasize enough that most of your job will be advertising/promotion. A lot of people read my blog and see my earnings I post on Twitter and believe that this work is easy. When I first started, I didn’t just login and get clients. I was always researching new places to advertise at inworld and I made sure to visit sex sims throughout the day. I still spend 8-10 hrs/day advertising my services in both Second Life and my other online sex work like OnlyFans.

High traffic sims like Escort Oasis rarely have available ad space. While they do always have rotating ads available, still ads where only you are being advertised are usually better. Ads cost 500L/week at Escort Oasis. If you’re a cam model, you can get verified and join the cam group for Escort Oasis. You’ll also be able to purchase ad space for 100L/week near the landing point under verified cam models. I suggest getting verified since this has helped me get more clients.

Public Sex Sim

I have available ad space at my sex sim The Wages of Sin for advertising cam shows. Traffic has begun to pick up, however I’m still not hiring new strippers or escorts at this time. I do have a freelance opportunity available for virtual sex workers on my sim. There is a public sex house I’m currently building on my sex sim. There will be tip jars and poles available for those who wish to provide services. I’ll provide more information when the public sex house is complete.

Virtual Escorting

I get emails daily about getting into virtual escorting. Most find the thought of it exciting but soon realize more goes into it than just logging into a virtual space. So many think that being a virtual sex worker is easy. There is a learning curve with Second Life and Red Light Center. Both require patience and consistency to crack. I taught myself everything I know about both virtual worlds. I remember being so frustrated at first and then being proud of myself once I figured it out.

I know I would’ve learned things quicker if I had someone teaching me. That’s why I’m reopening my virtual classes, but I’ll get to that later in another post.

The first time I earned $250 in a day on Second Life, I literally cried and went right back to work. For so long, I didn’t think I would get to that point, but I quickly learned that my thinking blocked my success. If I would’ve told myself earlier that I knew I can do it, I would’ve accomplished my $250 in a day goal way earlier. Virtual escorting can be very lucrative, but it’s not easy.

Promotion & Beyond

To become successful as a virtual escort, advertising will need to come like second nature. If you’re a content model or have a fanclub such as OnlyFans, then you already know how promotion works. You know that if you don’t promote, you won’t get any subscribers. You also know if you don’t offer new and exciting content on a consistent basis, you will lose the interest of the subscribers you already have. Having a solid marketing plan is a must. This also goes for virtual escorting.

Ad boards are the best way to get the word out about your services in virtual worlds. Both Second Life and Red Light Center have ads of some sort. Second Life gives users the ability to purchase ad space inworld while Red Light Center uses a web interface. While ad boards are one of the best ways to promote your services, there are other ways.

Visiting different sims is the perfect way to meet potential clients. At some point, someone will message wanting sex, and that’s when the deal can be sealed. While not everyone will want to pay for virtual sex, some will. I suggest trying different approaches to make a potential an actual client. If bringing up payment right away doesn’t work, try asking a couple of questions about their sexual likes and then bring up pricing.

There are many ways to make different spaces work for you.

Updates on Virtual Sex Club

My club has now been open for a couple of weeks and I do have a couple of ladies working for me. I am freezing hiring for the moment. Once I reopen hiring, I will announce it on my blog and Twitter.

You can visit me live at The Wages of Sin: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/East%20Wood/187/150/25. I’ve just now restarted playing Red Light Center. When I open my place back up, I’ll announce it and leave the landmark.

Advertising Sex Work

I remember when I started playing Second Life and Red Light Center and thinking that virtual sex work was the next big thing. During the pandemic, more people started joining virtual worlds looking for ways to connect with other people. Virtual worlds are also great tools for advertising sex work.

If you’re an online sex worker looking for new ways to advertise your services, then tune in. I always emphasize that it’s important to find new creative ways to reach clients. For example, I was mentioned in an article by Wired a year ago that discussed the lockdown and how sex workers were using Animal Farm and Second Life to make more money. I honestly hadn’t even thought about using Animal Farm as a way to keep my subs and slaves busy until I read the article. It’s all about finding creative ways to make more money.

The global pandemic has forced online sex workers to get creative and find new ways to market their services. It’s no secret that social media has made it harder for sex workers to get the word out about their services. This is why it’s important to use as many avenues as you can to maximize your earning potential.

Virtual Sex Work Webinar

So for the past year, I’ve been thinking of having a webinar for online sex workers who want to transition into virtual sex work. The webinar will be surface-level information meaning it will go in more depth than my articles but won’t go as deep as my paid training. I’ll provide more details on the webinar once the time comes.
